1964.5-1970 Ford Mustang Torque Arm Rear Suspension (for DSE Mini-Tub)

TCI Engineering’s 1964.5-1970 Ford Mustang Torque Arm Rear Suspension (for DSE Mini-Tub) is engineered for Street, Autocross and Road Course Applications. The Torque Arm eliminates the suspension bind that the factory leaf‑spring setup creates during cornering. The Torque Arm features a telescoping slider at the front of the arm that rotates as the car goes through suspension travel and articulation. This design lets the coil‑over shocks and rear sway bar control the car’s handling without any binding. The kit allows for a lowered stance, greater rear axle control, and dramatically improved handling. There are 3 height adjustments on the axle brackets in one-inch increments. You also have the ability to fine tune the ride height further with the adjustable coilovers.

The installation of the 1964.5-1970 Ford Mustang Torque Arm mostly requires drilling and bolting in components. The Mustang Torque Arm kit is bolt‑on except for welding the axle brackets, panhard bracket, Torque Arm tabs, and optional sway‑bar brackets. The optional sway bar also needs welded axle brackets. This kit is designed only for 9-inch axle housings. Fully welded, ready‑to‑install 9-inch housings are available if you prefer a complete bolt‑in setup.
