“Decided on going with TCI and their 4 Link and full front cross member on my 84 and couldn't be happier with the product fit, everything lined up perfectly with minimal effort. The installation was performed in a home shop / garage with more or less basic hand tools, zero fabrication was required for the swap. Shortly after install we realized two things 1 the steering rack we received had an issue, within 1 day TCI had a new one on its way to me. Unbelievable after sales service no questions asked. 2 the springs on my shocks were too stiff, again a quick email to TCI and a new set were on route to us. You simply cannot beat that kind of commitment to customer satisfaction. Future projects will be TCI equipped no question.” - Jamie Attridge
BUILD SPECS
The truck is a 1984 C10 factory short box with TCI IFS front cross member and TCI 4 link rear suspension. We used a GSI frame brace in the middle to keep the truck true with the extra hp. Power is supplied by a GM LS3 525HP crate engine with GM 4l80E transmission. We used Dakota digital gauges inside with fresh TMI door cards. I built this truck with my father over the course of 2 years off and on working at it.
