2022 Musclecars at the Strip – Las Vegas Motor Speedway

2022 Musclecars at the Strip

We head back to the desert in search of good times and fast laps. The Musclecars at the Strip event in Las Vegas, NV is quickly becoming one of our favorites. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly competition and of course the scenery is hard to beat. We teamed up with one of our dealers, Reiss Racing, and brought some very capable but eclectic bunch of vehicles to compete. Jeff Rode brought his SBC/4L80 powered squarebody C10 that features our Pro-Touring IFS. You can see more about Jeff & His Son Austin’s C10 aka #projectCleanSweep here. https://totalcostinvolved.com/testimonials/1973-chevy-c10-jeff-austin-rode/ Aptly dubbed “The Beach Boys Wagon” was ready for battle. This sleeper of a Nova wagon driven by Harrison Beach is no joke. Featuring our Pro-Touring IFS, Torque Arm rear, Currie axle housing, Wilwood brakes and a 670hp LS3 courtesy of HPS Machine and tuned via Fitech EFI. With “The Kid” behind the wheel this combination is hard to beat. Josh Keller brought out his black ’67 Camaro called “The High School Car”. This is a LS1/T56 powered car with the least horsepower of the group. Josh makes good use of the power though and has a fantastic weekend. George Reiss brought out his blueish/purple ’69 Camaro named, “Blurple”. This car has our Pro-Touring IFS, Torque Arm rear, Wilwood brakes, and a cammed LS3. George and Jason Wilcox (our Marketing Supervisor) would share driving duties of Blurple all weekend.

Here is Day One.
