Chad Ryker Takes Home Classic Muscle Autocross Class Win at NMCA West Spring Nationals
Equipped with a complete TCI Engineering tubular front clip setup and torque arm rear suspension system, Chad’s Camaro is a beast of a competitor riding on Forgeline wheels and Falken tires and powered by a Mast Motorsports LS3 while big 13” Wilwood brakes bring it to a halt. With this setup, Chad laid down an unofficial class best time of 54.85 to take the win! Congratulations to Chad and his TCI-equipped Camaro on his win!
Two weeks after Chad’s win in Fontana he drove the car to Las Vegas for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Association event. That’s correct; this car is driven to events not trailered. Chad managed to edge out 21 other drivers placing him in 3rd place for the weekend. This is now Chad’s 2nd podium finish this year at an Optima event. He plans to make one more race in October at the Auto Club Speedway which if he podiums should place him well in the overall point standings and hopefully the invite to Vegas in November.
